Zac Caro went solar in 2017, and with a background in the financial services industry, he was immediately impressed by the long-term savings and practical benefits solar could offer homeowners. After a 12-year career in finance, Zac made the decision to transition into the solar industry with a clear goal: to improve both the customer experience and the real-world savings for Midwestern families.

Married to his wife, a nurse, and recently celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, Zac is a proud father of three and dog owner to Orion. He founded Helio GreenTech from the ground up and brings hands-on experience across sales, operations, and project execution. Zac is motivated by building a values-driven company that delivers meaningful environmental impact while creating long-term opportunities for strong teams and families.
